INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, EMDR, SHADOW WORK INTEGRATION

Kara J. Martone, MA, LPC, Ed.S

they/she

I am a non-binary, queer, neurodivergent, white, parent, educator and activist. I conceptualize my role in therapy as a thought partner and story mapper. I work with my clients to string together their narratives and experiences, and help note behavioral patterns with the aim of making the unconscious conscious. I enjoy engaging with clients in a collaborative and inquisitive process of self exploration. I utilize EMDR, somatic, existential, anti-racist, and narrative therapy modalities along with a queer informed perspective to facilitate conversations that assist clients in creating deeper belonging with self and connection with community. I believe in the power of language and the importance of self expression. I love utilizing non-traditional approaches to therapy including astrology and tarot. I find these resources provide powerful language for integration and deeper understanding of the multitudes we all contain.

In addition to my role as a therapist I am a writer. My essay “Transformation and Belonging” has been chosen for publication in the upcoming book “Seahorses: Trans and Nonbinary Pregnancy.”

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, RELATIONAL THERAPY

River Martone, MA, LPC, MFTC

they/he

I approach our work together from a radical social justice framework that is rooted in liberation-based healing and fed by curiosity and compassion. I utilize narrative, IFS (parts work), feminist, person-centered, and existential theories and work from an anti-racist, anti-colonial, sex positive, poly, queer and trans affirming perspective.

As a White, neurodivergent, queer, and trans person who has survived conversion therapy, I know that living was not possible when I tried to keep parts of myself exiled. As a therapist, I hope to bear witness to my clients wholly. I am committed to co-cultivating the conditions for folks to find hope and possibility-to bloom into gardens that once were graves.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, RELATIONAL THERAPY, ADDICTIONS COUNSELING

Nich Dhillon, MA, LMFT, LAC

he/him

Wassup, y’all! As relational beings, the experience of feeling connected to our authentic self and that of others is essential to wellness. All of us carry with us multi-layered stories of joy, pain, love, and loss. It is my belief that knowledge is communally shared, and “therapy” is an inherently political act. With that, our work will be informed by narrative, emotionally focused, intersectional feminist, and liberation psychology practices. I am unapologetically committed to working from anti-racist, decolonial, sex and body positive, and queer and trans affirming stances. If given the privilege of collaborating, folks will be met with a curiousness and compassion that is critical to healing.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, RELATIONAL, FAMILY THERAPY

Ollie Viera, MSW, LSW Candidate

They/Them

Hi! I'm Ollie. I am a queer, neurodivergent clinician who holds authenticity as my highest value. I show up as my full self in the therapeutic space, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable enough to do the same. I work with adults and families, with a focus on BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent communities as they navigate identity, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, relational, and rooted in story. I draw from narrative therapy, DBT, somatic practices, and humanistic and holistic traditions. I bring humor, curiosity, and deep respect into the room. I'm fully committed to anti-racist, sex-positive, and gender-affirming care. Together, we can explore patterns, build skills, and create an environment for healing, self-expression, and growth.

INDIVIDUAL , SOMATIC, EMDR THERAPY

Kiani ‘Kannon’ Mitchell, MA, LPC

he/him

Hey there, I am an experienced trauma and depth-based therapist, which is just fancy talk for saying I consider and bring all aspects of human experience into therapy, from dreams, art, music or dance, and anything in between. I strive to create a welcoming environment for all to show up as they are and who they dream of being. I specialize in supporting individuals looking to break free from oppressive and suppressive structures that exist outside of self and within. I take an anti-racist, queer, trans, body, and sex-positive affirming approach to therapy. My process of counseling is based on collaboration and compassionate understanding. I utilize a mixture of trauma-informed, evidenced-based approaches like EMDR and more alternative approaches like psychodynamic and movement-based approaches to support my clients in reaching their unique goals.
