Our Therapy Services
-
At the Liberation Coalition we believe that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. We take this responsibility seriously. It is important to us that each client feels heard, respected, and valued. Our individual therapy is designed to fit the needs of each individual client. The therapists at the Liberation Coalition believe that each client is the authority on their lives and through a collaborative relationship with a highly trained therapist, purpose, meaning and growth can occur.
-
Navigating family relationships, whether they be traditional or redefined, biological or chosen, can feel difficult and overwhelming. Using a systems lens, we can help guide your family through various stages of expansion, transition, and conflict.
-
All relationships experience challenges, conflicts, and chapters of disconnect. At the Liberation Coalition, we utilize a systemic lens to help cultivate deeper emotional, romantic, and intimate connections within your relationships.
It is important to acknowledge the many shapes relationships can take. Be it monogamous, ethically non-monogamous, polyamorous, open, platonic, relationship anarchy, or one of the many other ways we can define our relationships, we strive to honor the unique story of your relationships, work through relational challenges, and strengthen your bonds with one another.

LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy is grounded in the belief that all people are who they say they are and each individual is the expert in their own lives. Affirmative therapy embraces and honors client’s identities and values the difference in all people. Through developing a safe and collaborative environment clients and therapists address issues of privilege, oppression, internal bias, and bias within communities and relationships. Therapists are prepared to address the negative impacts that homophobia, transphobia, racism, and heterosexism have on the lives of LGBTQIA+ clients.

Life can be difficult and overwhelming for young people. We want to see young people thriving and creating meaning as they move towards adulthood. Our therapists have extensive experience and are trained in the developmental, social, emotional and life skills that young adults need. From stress and anxiety to depression and hopelessness our therapists aim to create a tailored experience for each client’s needs. Creating a safe and supportive environment while working with families and community resources is incredibly important to us.

We work with individuals and leadership to examine internal bias, and develop the capacity for brave and vulnerable reflection. All with the understanding that examining self is vital for expansion and connection. Humans are social animals. We are better, more creative, stronger, and more brilliant in community. We must learn to embrace the healthy dependence that is inherent to our ancient success. Together we develop strategic approaches to infuse work, systems and culture that thrives because of its diversity.

EMDR therapy is a research based therapeutic process discovered by Francine Shapiro in 1987. EMDR includes Bilateral Stimulation (BLS) which engages both the right and left side of the brain while processing through difficult experiences. Through brain stimulation, new neurological pathways are developed to help the brain heal from trauma.

At The Liberation Coalition, we offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a powerful tool for healing and transformation. KAP combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine with the safety and support of a trained mental health professional. This modality can be particularly effective for individuals navigating depression, PTSD, complex trauma, and other persistent emotional challenges. Rooted in our commitment to liberation-focused care, KAP helps clients access deeper parts of the psyche, work through protective and exiled parts of the self, and create space for integration and growth. Our KAP services are grounded in consent, care, and a deep respect for each person’s unique healing process.

At LibCo, we approach men’s issues with depth, nuance, and compassion. We recognize that many men have been socialized to suppress emotion, avoid vulnerability, and navigate identity within rigid gender roles. Our clinicians create a supportive space for male clients to explore emotional expression, relationships, identity, fatherhood, trauma, and cultural expectations. Whether working through anger, grief, shame, or disconnection, we help men develop more authentic, connected, and liberated ways of being. We are especially attuned to the intersections of masculinity with race, sexuality, and past experiences of harm, and we approach this work through a lens of healing and accountability—not shame.

Land Acknowledge
We want to pay much deserved respect and gratitude to Native and Indigenous communities. We recognize the history of genocide and appropriation that has occurred historically and continues today. We recognize that we have benefited from Indigenous practices, culture, and knowledge - very often at the expense of the very communities, families, and teachers themselves.
We pay particular homage to the following communities who have been directly impacted by our occupation of their land: Tséstho’e (Cheyenne) Očhéthi Šakówiŋ hinono’eino’ biito’owu’ (Arapaho) Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute) and natives of other tribal Nations.
